About the Callers Club of Great Britain

Founded in 1954, the Square Dance Callers Club of Great Britain—known simply as Callers Club—brings together square dance callers, round dance cuers, and dance leaders from across the country.

With over 70 members, we represent the majority of active callers, cuers, and club leaders in Great Britain. Our shared goal is to preserve, promote, and enhance the activities of square and round dancing.

The Club maintains a members’ library of educational materials, offers access to affordable insurance and PPL licences, and publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, News and Views, where members exchange ideas and information.

Through education, collaboration, and support, Callers Club exists to strengthen and sustain square and round dancing throughout Great Britain.
